Goal

The node has been cordoned and a Pod cannot schedule because of a lingering taint. Restore scheduling and get the workload Running.

Steps

  1. Inspect: kubectl get nodes, kubectl describe node <name>
  2. kubectl uncordon the node
  3. Remove the offending maintenance taint
  4. The Deployment app must reach all replicas Ready
